What you should know about me:

I am a proud member of D&M’s Electrical & Computer Science Team, where I focus on a broad range of intellectual property matters, including patents and trademarks. With a background in physics and mathematics, I bring a technical perspective to my work across industries. I enjoy collaborating with clients at every stage of growth to help them protect and strategically leverage their IP portfolios.

  • Known to be an energetic, friendly and encouraging colleague whose door is always open
  • Enjoys collecting and creating art in different media, including acrylic and oil paintings and mixed media works
  • Favorite physics fun fact is that Albert Einstein referred to the theory of Quantum Entanglement as “Spooky Action at a Distance”

Lillian’s Experience

Lillian represents a variety of clients, from small, start-up organizations to large, Fortune 100 corporations. Lillian drafts and prosecutes patent applications within the electrical and software arts, specifically focusing on technologies such as computer hardware and software, autonomous vehicles, 5G networks, robotics, and electronic devices & components.

Lillian takes a comprehensive approach to client counseling, diving into each organization’s unique background to better implement strategy driving long-term success. Her wholistic approach to client counseling looks beyond individual applications and while thinking about a client’s IP portfolios in their entirety.

In addition to her patent practice, Lillian advises clients on brand clearance, trademark application filing, portfolio audits, IP acquisitions, and trademark enforcement. She also develops strategic clearance and filing approaches to support rebranding efforts.

Lillian has successfully defended clients’ trademark rights through effective cease and desist efforts and cancellation proceedings before the USPTO’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).
