Jay’s Experience
Jay handles a full range of intellectual property services with an emphasis on patent-related matters. Jay’s practice includes U.S. and international patent procurement, managing global IP portfolios, rendering patent-related opinions, drafting and negotiating agreements, and handling due diligence investigations.
Jay has experience in a variety of technologies in the thermal, mechanical, aero-mechanical, and electro-mechanical arts while specializing in gas turbine and power generation technologies.
Prior to joining D&M, Jay spent 5 years as a senior patent attorney for a leading power tools company that specializes in outdoor equiptment, hand tools, and floorcare products for professional and industrial users. In this role, Jay handled clearance/right-to-practice matters, IP monetization, and IP portfolio manangment.
