I work with clients ranging from small companies to Fortune 500 corporations to help them build and manage patent portfolios to reflect the value of their innovations.

Andrew’s Experience
Andrew provides patent prosecution services and related intellectual property counsel for clients innovating at the intersection of hardware and software. His technical subject matter expertise spans a diverse range of technologies, including electromechanical devices, consumer products, mechanical systems, automation and robotics, manufacturing processes, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data protection.
Before joining Dority & Manning, Andrew built a robust foundation in both law and industry. He spent eight years as a senior R&D engineer designing complex automated and mechanical systems before transitioning to legal practice as a patent agent and associate at a prominent North Carolina firm.
This combination of hands-on technical leadership and broad legal experience allows Andrew to quickly grasp complex technologies, identify core novelties, and deliver strategic advice that maximizes the commercial value of his clients’ inventions.
