Bethany’s practice centers on U.S. and international IP strategies and patent procurement spanning various chemical and life sciences sectors, including pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, polymer compositions, diagnostics, medical devices, and consumer products. Additionally, Bethany plays a pivotal role in Dority & Manning’s trademark practice, offering comprehensive services from trademark searching, clearing and filing, to portfolio management and enforcement. Her trademark clientele comprises multinational corporations, prominent media entities, research institutions, and retailers, among others.

Bethany graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and later earned a Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University Law School.

Michael focuses his practice on U.S. and international patent procurement and portfolio management in electro-mechanical and mechanical arts. He partners with clients in a variety of industries to protect innovations in sensor systems, lighting systems, electronic components, agricultural machinery, and communication systems, among others. Having worked as an engineer for a vehicle original equipment manufacturer and a tier one automotive supplier prior to law school, Michael applies a wealth of practical industry knowledge in his successful IP practice.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oakland University and a Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law.
