My practice focuses on developing strategic patent protection tailored to clients’ technologies and business objectives. With a background in chemistry, I draw on my technical foundation to understand complex technologies, communicate with inventors, and develop innovative patenting strategies.

Catherine’s Experience

Catherine provides comprehensive patent prosecution services for clients advancing innovations across the chemical arts and related technologies. Her technical subject matter expertise spans a diverse range of complex fields, including polymers, advanced coatings, additive manufacturing, medical devices, internal combustion engines, and next-generation battery technologies and systems.

Before to joining Dority & Manning, Catherine gained experience at an Am Law 100 firm. Her work across both foundational chemical arts and interdisciplinary mechanical systems gives her a well-rounded perspective on securing commercially meaningful protection.

Catherine is collaborative, intentional, and easy to work with. She blends technical rigor with an open, transparent communication style and takes the time to understand her clients’ business objectives. This approach allows her to deliver clear, practical advice that makes navigating the patent landscape a seamless, collaborative experience.
