As an experienced IP Attorney, I regularly assist clients through preparing, prosecuting and managing U.S. and International patent portfolios. My practice is primarily directed to the chemical and mechanical arts. I am passionate about innovation and enjoy helping D&M’s clients develop and protect their intellectual property.
Rita’s Experience
Rita’s IP practice concentrates on drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the chemical and mechanical arts. Throughout her career, Rita has gained experience in a variety of technical areas including pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, diagnostic imaging agents, branded and generic pharmaceuticals, intraocular lens implants, biocompatible polymers, environmental control systems, power generation systems and aviation.
Rita’s patent experience includes involvement in over 150 granted U.S. patents, patent opinion work including validity, infringement, and right to practice opinions, and participation in due diligence investigations.
