I specialize in drafting and prosecuting patent applications mostly in the mechanical arts. Before joining the team at Dority & Manning, I worked as an in-house patent attorney for a Fortune 500 company in the aerospace, defense, and industrial fields.

Alison has experience in a variety of mechanical and electro-mechanical arts, including control systems, aircraft engines, automotive components and technologies, and combustion technologies, among others. Alison also enjoys dabbling in software-related subject matter.
Before joining Dority & Manning, Alison worked as an in-house attorney, overseeing outside counsel’s preparation and prosecution activities. In addition, Alison participated in patent preparation and prosecution of high-priority patent families, invention harvesting, virtual patent marking, and freedom-to-operate analysis.
