What you should know about me:

I began my career at D&M in 2004 through a cooperative education program. 18 years later, I am proud to serve as a Principal of the firm. My team of mechanical and electro-mechanical enthusiasts maintain a comprehensive understanding of technological trends to help our clients maintain a strong market position.

Thomas’ Experience

Thomas supports his clients with frequent communication and a sincere desire to understand their unique business goals. He handles a full range of intellectual property services with an emphasis on patent-related matters. His practice includes U.S. and international patent procurement, managing global IP portfolios, rendering patent-related opinions (including validity, infringement, and right to practice opinions), drafting and negotiating intellectual property-related agreements, and handling due diligence investigations.

Thomas has experience in a variety of technologies in the electromechanical and mechanical arts, including telecommunications systems and equipment, consumer products, power generation and control systems, automotive components, structural and building systems, pultrusion machinery, packaging and industrial machinery, and agricultural machinery.

Personally, Tommy enjoys working with inventors and in-house counsel to fully grasp their inventions, business goals, and IP philosophies to develop competitive strategies that advance their ideas.
