Particular areas of experience include reactor operations, nuclear instrumentation, radiological controls, and environmental remediation.
Experience:
Prior to attending law school, Steve served eight years as a U.S. Naval Officer on nuclear submarines and two years as a consultant to the U.S. Department of Energy in nuclear and hazardous waste operations.
After law school, Steve practiced in general litigation, gaining extensive first chair experience in state and federal courts. Steve has tried to conclusion over 60 cases in state and federal courts.
In 2000, Steve began specializing in intellectual property, primarily in the area of patent and trademark prosecution and litigation.
Steve represents U.S. and foreign clients in the acquisition, enforcement, and coordination of all aspects of their intellectual property rights in diverse technologies such as power generation, textile machinery and products, and explosive ordnance.
